Update (10 Feb 2021): the AW-Drones survey on the operator’s perspective of SORA has ended. You can now browse and download both its results and its conclusions.
Call for action for drone operators! Yesterday, we launched a survey about operational matters aimed to give voice to the European drone operator community.
The UAS OPS survey on drone operations & safety risk assessment identifies the market sectors in which drone flight operations are currently taking place in compliance with the applicable rules or regulations, and their mission purposes.
Therefore, this survey will give you a chance to provide your opinion on current and future drone operational matters. Available in English, French, German and Spanish, the survey will be open until the 8th 22nd of June 2020 [update: the deadline has been extended].
Then, we will publish its conclusions and make them available free-of-charge to all interested parties. In addition, we will deliver them to the European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA) and the European Commission (EC).
Note: A survey on the OPS RISK, a follow-on to the UAS OPS survey, will be set out on the 22nd of June 2020. This survey will address operational experience with the use of SORA, standard scenarios, and predefined risk assessment. It will be available, only in English, until the 13th of July 2020.
